Deck & Fence Cleaning done right in Cary

If a stain is going on next, the wash decides how it turns out. Stain will not bond through mildew or a weathered gray layer, and it will lift early wherever it tried. We take the wood back to clean and let it dry, so whatever goes on top actually holds.

Gray boards are not rotten boards. That gray is a thin layer of dead fiber and mildew sitting on top of good wood. Take it off gently and the color underneath is still there.

A tired gray deck usually just needs the right clean, not a rebuild. Our low-pressure wash pulls the mildew and weathering off Cary decks and fences and brings the wood color back.

Signs it is time in Cary

None of these fix themselves. What is growing there feeds on moisture, and every season it holds more of it.

  • Boards gone flat gray instead of wood-toned
  • The rail tops looking fine and the risers looking green
  • Fencing that has gone dark along the bottom third

Questions

Deck & Fence Cleaning in Cary, answered

Do you stain or seal too?
We clean and prep. Once it is dry we can talk about sealing to protect the finish.
Will you get the green off the bottom of my fence?
That band at the base is where the mulch and the sprinkler keep it damp. It comes off. It also comes back faster than the rest, so that is the section worth doing yearly.
Will pressure washing damage my deck?
It can, easily. Wood is soft and high pressure raises the grain and leaves permanent marks. We work at low pressure and let the cleaning solution do the work, which takes longer and does not wreck the boards.
Can I get it done while I am at work?
Yes, and most people do. We need the outdoor water on and gate access if you have a fence. You get photos when it is finished.
Do you need to move my things?
We ask you to move cars, grills, and anything loose off the surfaces we are cleaning. Furniture that is too heavy to shift, we work around and clean under as best we can.

Why we know Cary

Cary has strict HOA standards in a lot of neighborhoods, and a clean exterior is often the fastest way to close out a notice. We clean siding, concrete, and roofs to that standard.

Cary has been on our list since 2010. It is one of the fastest-growing towns in the Triangle, it sits in Wake County, and we know which streets green up first.
