Driveway, patio and paver sealing

We seal Triangle-area driveways, patios, and pavers so stains, water, and sun cannot dig in.

♀ Woman-Owned★ 4.9 · 213 reviewsLicensed & InsuredSince 2010

Clean concrete is step one. Sealing is what keeps it clean. A sealer blocks oil and water, holds paver joints in place, and slows the fading the sun causes on Triangle-area patios.

Sealing is our best-value job because it protects the money you already spent on the surface. On Triangle-area pavers it locks the sand, stops weeds in the joints, and makes the next cleaning easy.

Think of a sealer the way you think of a finish on a deck. It is not the point of the project. It is what keeps the project from having to be redone. Pavers and stamped concrete are expensive to replace and cheap to protect.

Timing is most of this job. A sealer locks in whatever is under it, so the surface has to be clean and fully dry before anything goes on. We clean, we wait, then we seal. Rushing that middle step in Triangle-area humidity is how a slab ends up cloudy.

The sheen is the decision people regret, not the sealer. A wet-look finish on a patio in full sun is a very different thing to live with than a matte one. We put a sample down and let you stand and look at it before the rest goes on.

Sealing is not forever and it is not meant to be. It is a wear layer, and the point is that it wears instead of the surface. Two or three years on and you refresh the layer rather than replace the patio.

Signs it is time

Any one of these means the buildup has already started working on the surface. The longer it sits, the harder it is to lift.

  • Paver joints losing sand or sprouting weeds
  • Oil that soaks straight in instead of beading
  • Stamped concrete that has faded flat
  • A patio that stains from every spill
  • Water soaking straight in instead of sitting on top
  • Pavers that have started to shift or rock underfoot

What you get

Why property owners call us

Stains wipe up

A sealed surface repels oil and water instead of soaking them in.

Locks paver joints

Sealing holds the joint sand so pavers stay put and weed-free.

Richer color

The right sealer deepens the color and evens out the look.

Less upkeep

Sealed surfaces clean faster and need it less often.

We test the finish first

You see the sheen on a small area before we commit the whole surface.

Timed to the weather

We seal on a dry window so it cures right the first time.

Cleaning is part of it

Nothing goes down over dirt. The clean and the dry time are in the quote, not extra.

A wear layer, not a gamble

When it eventually dulls you re-coat the layer. The surface underneath never took the damage.

Process

How our Paver & Concrete Sealing works

1

Clean first

We fully clean and let the surface dry before sealing.

2

Prep joints

On pavers we re-sand joints so the seal holds.

3

Apply sealer

We put down an even coat matched to the surface.

4

Cure and inspect

We let it set and check for full, even coverage.

Pricing

What paver & concrete sealing costs

Sealing in the Triangle and Johnston County prices off square footage and the sealer you choose. Pavers cost more than flat concrete because the joints have to be re-sanded first. Cleaning is included, because sealing over dirt locks the dirt in.

Questions

Paver & Concrete Sealing, answered

How long does concrete sealing last in the Triangle and Johnston County?
Most Triangle-area sealed surfaces hold up for two to three years before a refresh, depending on sun and traffic.
Does sealing change how it looks?
It can deepen the color and add a soft sheen. We will show you the finish before we do the whole area.
Do I need to clean before sealing?
Yes, and we handle both. Sealing over dirt traps it, so we clean and dry first, then seal.
How soon can I walk or drive on it?
Foot traffic is usually the same day. Vehicles need longer, and we give you the exact window before we leave.
Will it get slippery?
Not with the right product. We use sealers made for walking surfaces and can add a grip additive for pool decks and steps.
What time of year is best for sealing?
Anything with a dry stretch and moderate temperature. Spring and early fall are easiest here. High summer humidity lengthens the cure and we schedule around it rather than fight it.
My old sealer has gone cloudy. Can you fix it?
Usually. Cloudiness is moisture trapped under the old coat. It has to come off before anything new goes down, so tell us it is sealed already and we will quote the stripping with it.
Why us

Woman-owned since 2010

A clear price before we start

You get the number up front. It does not move while we are packing up.

The owners are on the job

You are not handed to a crew that has never spoken to you. One of us is there or one of us sent them and knows your property.

A real person answers

No phone tree and no callback queue. You call, someone picks up, and that someone can actually get you on the schedule.

The right method, not the strongest

Soft wash where soft wash belongs. Pressure only where the surface can take it. That is how nothing gets damaged.

We show up on the day we said

If the weather moves us, you hear it from us that morning, not after you have waited all afternoon.

One number for the whole property

Roof, siding, concrete, glass, gutters, and the inside of a commercial building. You are not managing four vendors and four schedules.

Our guarantee

If something is not right, we come back and make it right. That is the whole policy.
