House Washing for Schools

Play areas, walkways, and entrances need to be clean and safe.

The problem

What schools deal with

Parents look at the walkways and the play areas before they look at anything else. We clean around your calendar so nothing happens while children are on site.

The calendar runs this job, not us. Breaks, teacher workdays, and the weeks before the year starts are when this work belongs, and everything gets planned backwards from your schedule rather than forwards from ours.

Buildup on playground surfaces

Touring parents forming an impression outside

Dirty entrances and canopies

Work that cannot happen during school hours

How we help

House Washing built for your property

Most Triangle-area houses need this every two to three years, and the north side always needs it first. If one elevation is green and the rest looks fine, that is normal, and it is still worth doing the whole house so the color matches.

That green film on the north side of the house is algae, and blasting it with high pressure will wreck your siding. We use a soft wash instead. Low pressure, the right cleaner, and it comes off clean.

It kills the growth

Algae treated at the root does not come back in a season the way rinsed algae does.

Plants protected

Beds are wet down before and rinsed after. Nothing gets left sitting on foliage.

Brighter house, same day

Most Triangle-area homes look years newer in one visit.

No ladder scars

We work from the ground where we can and protect what we cannot avoid.

Process

How our House Washing works

1

Protect the plants

We soak nearby beds and shrubs first.

2

Apply soft wash

A gentle cleaner goes on to break down algae and mildew.

3

Low-pressure rinse

We rinse from the top down for an even, clean finish.

4

Final check

We look for any missed spots and touch them up.

Pricing

What it costs

We quote the house, not the hour. Footprint and stories set most of it. The rest is detail: shutters, wrapped columns, heavy trim, and how far the growth has gotten into the shaded walls.

Questions

House Washing for Schools, answered

Do you clean the gutter faces too?
We rinse the outside of the gutters with the house wash. Brightening the gutter face to clear the dark stripes is a separate step we can add.
Do you offer house washing services in the Triangle and Johnston County?
Yes, across Triangle-area and the surrounding towns. It is one of the most common jobs we do, and for most houses here it is needed every two to three years.
Will you kill my plants?
No. Beds get soaked with plain water before we start and rinsed again after, which dilutes anything that reaches them. If something is fragile, tell us and we cover it.
How much water does this use, and do I pay for it?
We run off your outdoor spigot and a typical house wash uses about as much as a couple of loads of laundry. It shows up on your bill and it is a few dollars.
